JUDGMENT OF RECORD ·
The Pentagon is buying cheap strike mass from a wartime supplier. It ordered 1,320 more Ukrainian F10 drones, taking orders to at least 3,320.
On Oct 7 F-Drones said the US military ordered 1,320 more F10 strike FPV drones under the Drone Dominance program, for delivery by the end of November. The first 2,000 shipped in July and all were accepted by Sept 10. Drone Dominance plans about $1B of small strike drones and over 200,000 units by 2027. Price was not disclosed. No US statement confirms the order.
On Oct 5 the Pentagon picked four directed energy systems for a counter-drone pilot at five US bases, from AeroVironment, Epirus, Kord and Boeing. On Oct 9 ProPublica, via Defense One, reported nearly $350M of no-bid consulting deals, partly under an other transaction agreement, to a firm tied to a senior Pentagon official. The Pentagon says he complies with ethics rules.
The layer moving is capital. The Pentagon now buys combat-tested drones in volume from a foreign line instead of funding long development, and fast contract tools carry that money with less disclosure. Distribution Capture governs. Confidence is Low: the order rests on the supplier's statement.

WHAT WOULD PROVE THIS WRONG
The Pentagon cancels or cuts the F10 follow-on order, or Ukraine withholds the export permit so delivery slips past Dec 31, 2026.
